PLATFORM- our platform is about putting community before career politicians. If you feel the same way, please visit our support page to donate or volunteer!

  • Too often, we are forgotten by our elected officials. They concern themselves with party politics and Washington DC drama, while never actually achieving any results for all of us here in our district and state. I believe it is time we put community issues before political agenda. Working with township boards, city councils, and school boards, we must identify issues that are important to residents at a local level, and take those priorities to Columbus. The government is to serve it’s people, not the other way around. If we are to win for the community, we must begin in the community.

  • These career politicians use hot button topics to gain votes, and to keep us divided. As long as we are divided in our community, state and nation, they remain in power. There will be hard conversations, and times we do not agree, and that's okay. My pledge is to always strive to bring both sides together, and to work towards compromise and solution, no matter what the issue may be.

  • A large part of our district is struggling with a spike in violent crime. It will be my goal on day one to work with groups like Middletown City Council, to address their funding issues so we can see more officers on our streets, better pay and more resources for our police and fire departments and direct results for our residents. We all have a right to a safe community, and our officers need our support.

  • My childhood was shaped by the drug crisis in Butler County and Ohio. It took my mother from me when I was 17. It affected my siblings, and I have seen it take countless lives in the years since. It is time that our state finally steps up and commits time and funding into the drug war. Stop spending tax payer money on fighting things like marijuana, and let's fight things like heroine and fentanyl. Let us truly invest in treatment and recovery. Let's ensure that the sober living homes that receive tax payer dollars are monitored by our state health department. Let us truly look at this for what it is- a war. It is a war that we are losing.

Another battlefront right here in our district is the surge in homelessness. We can no longer ignore the toll this has taken on our community, and the individuals needing support. We must realize that this is not only a local emergency, but a state emergency. We must work to ensure that every community in our county and state has the tools, funding and resources to serve these individuals, resulting in a decrease in the homeless population and better results for home owners and businesses.

  • In 2023, we were hit with historic state mandated property tax hikes. The highest, 39%, in places like Monroe. Upwards of 300% increases on our farmers. I held town halls, had state and county officials attend and received no answers. They claimed to have "not seen it coming". This is unacceptable. It is my opinion that a tax commissioner who is appointed by the Governor and not accountable to the voters, should not have such broad authority over our lives. Changing our state law to give authority to our counties, and working to address things like unconstitutional school funding will be a top priority.

  • Our county and district has been built over the generations by union workers. Many of my own family members belong to unions. In a free market we need healthy unions to ensure that the working class is given a fair shake. In the 46th district, I will not support union busting legislation, but rather work towards building strong foundations with our union members, businesses and local governments.

  • Last but certainly not least... I am a Republican. At the core of my party, is the belief in limited government, lower taxes etc. In recent years, I have watched the state government get bigger, taxes go higher and bureaucracy run rampant. We need to send candidates to Columbus who are not afraid of reminding the establishment politicians of these principles. We need to whenever possible, legislate power back to the local level.
